The concept behind this corporate identity is to show the overlap of the solar panels and how they create a sunshine ray. The white background is intended to maintain the logo’s subtlety and delicacy. Weyn El Kahraba&nbsp;(Where's the electricty?) is a campaign promoting the fundamental rights of Lebanese citizens to access electricity, while condemning the corruption within the sector. The campaign employs public interventions, a series of posters, and a digital platform to raise awareness and address the issues at hand. THE INTERVENTION <img width="3509" height="2481" width_o="3509" height_o="2481" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/c6cea05645ebab55dd8727cf77851e9439f3cbc9cbac88c4a96ae0e4550edf5b/FYP-WEBSITE-02.png" data-mid="198398117" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/c6cea05645ebab55dd8727cf77851e9439f3cbc9cbac88c4a96ae0e4550edf5b/FYP-WEBSITE-02.png" /> The public intervention requires the use of glow-in-the-dark paint and brushes with the aim of drawing attention to the numerous poorly illuminated streets in Beirut. These interventions are specifically designed to take place at night. In daylight, they remain inconspicuous, but upon exposure to intense lighting or sunlight, the paint will glow in the dark. This method is intended to emphasize on the amount of poorly lit streets in Beirut, including inactive, unlit poles. On the left are images of my initial prototype, illustrating the product tested in the dark streets of Beirut. Below, you'll find simulations of the interventions. My goal was to convey my message through distinctive lettering, serving as a signature that complements my interventions. I drew inspiration from the Ruqaa' font and considered the little details such as stencil cutting resulting in lettering without counter forms. This design choice facilitates quicker application. Families host lunches/dinners by serving all types of foods that are shared at the table and not distributed in single portions. People remain seated for four-to-five-hours. Thus, I am creating a series of vertical table extensions designed to give the main table a breather so the people get an enhanced dining experience. I drew and developed my designs from them.The melamine brown bowls has a yellow organic pattern on the inner surfaces. In the absence of any kind of traditional dishware or cutlery, these bowls come closest to symbolizing Lebanese cuisine. The botanical pattern was inspired by nature.&nbsp;Chaffe means quick sip. It’s a small coffee cup with no handles with a very specific pattern on. The flower (on it) is inspired by an Opium Poppy plant. Its name is inspired by the city of Baalbek, as the stand echoes the form of its iconic Roman temples. <img width="6240" height="4160" width_o="6240" height_o="4160" data-src="https://freight.cargo.site/t/original/i/bf56f24f74c85eaeb1314bbe241275febd9fd5fe526be6d878d7047d8357b909/DSCF1531_2.jpg" data-mid="241211804" border="0" src="https://freight.cargo.site/w/1000/i/bf56f24f74c85eaeb1314bbe241275febd9fd5fe526be6d878d7047d8357b909/DSCF1531_2.jpg" /> Made of two types of wood (Pine and Olive wood), I came up with a tessellation system, in which the tabletop forms come together to create a larger surface when the individual serving stands are placed next to one another. The shapes are like little islands that float individually or merge.The base of the serving stands is terra cotta, a material that is solid enough to support the bowls but also easy to shape to create harmonious compositions when the stands are place together. After experimenting with many shapes I selected bases, that come in different heights and curves. All of them are ergonomic, easy to carry and hold. The curve suggests an organic flow and is thicker at the bottom to ensure stability. This particular shape is suitable for the slot plate, where pita bread is placed at the bottom and grilled meat skewers are on top. time at the American University of Beirut (AUB), we had to move out of our department because it was being renovated. Thus, we were scattered across the campus. So, for this project, we had to create a temporary signage system to help students and professors navigate around campus, finding their classrooms, offices, and other design facilities. Then, we designed the signage system based on every building plan to be easily recognizable - we had to gather the blueprints to have an accurate space division.
